Syncrude Corpse Will Never Collect WCB a.k.a. Dave Matthews

This article is interesting considering that Dave Matthews was Syncrude's bird and ecology team leader. Dave Matthews has since died of Cancer. Matthews, who had no training in wildlife management, since his only previous Syncrude qualifications was expertise as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
It came out in the court hearings that Dave Matthews has since died of Cancer. Interesting? Yes, could it be as result of working in close proximity to the Toxic Tailing Pond?
Did Equipment Operator/Migratory Bird Specialist Dave Matthews qualify for Workers Compensation Alberta death benefits, since there is about a 99% Probability Mr. Matthews expired as a result of working in such close proximity to the Tailing Pond/s.
I am simply curious as to whether or not Dead Syncrude Personnel qualify for this benefit, considering it equals of probably exceeds the Test for Cancers caused as a result of prolonged Occupational Exposure to extreme known Carcinogenic Toxin Lakes. There is no Scientist in the World that would contest the Extreme Toxicity & Cancer causing known Toxins in these Poisonous Chemical Lakes.
Mind you a Alberta Government Crony Scientist would knowingly Mislead the Public about the Tar Sands Scientifically Accepted Facts.
That too has been proven, and is a matter of public domain.
It only seems fair given the fact that the Fire Fighters have earned themselves this exclusive death benefit, recognized by the WCB Alberta.
Dis-including "ALL" other workers exposed to extremely dangerous Cancer Causing Chemicals, on the basis these Fire Fighter Cancer's were caused by agents of Combustion, is nothing more than Discrimination on the basis the unfortunate deceased worker was employed by Oil Sands Corporations propped up by Super Corrupt Oil Cronies in the Alberta government.
After all the Director for CSIS just public stated that government officials in Canada have been compromised by foreign interests.
I regard any group or Corporation that corrupts our government officials to be regarded as a foreign Power. Some of these crooks are domestic (eg.WCB), but Most are acting on behalf of foreign Oil interests. In my opinion.
In a true Democratic Province, there would be inquires, not in Alberta. The Corruption runs High & Deep.
Maybe someone should ask the WCB Alberta. They seem to have all the time in the world to discuss Fire Fighters, surely they can spare a few moments to discuss Cancer riddled Tar Sand deceased workers.

Mind you, I doubt the Minister Responsible Thomas Lukaszuk would really have time to discuss these important matters. Especially given the fact that he is an old WCB Crony. In my Opinion,He has to be, there is no other possible explanation as how he went from being a school teacher to being a Injured Workers Advocate, he was a WCB Claims manager or his wife was.
This is precisely why the WCB Alberta, and Employment Minister Thomas Lukaszuk are fully committed to building the WCB EDMONTON FORTRESS.

Evidence based Medicine

My biggest fear, especially here in the only Province that actually exports and distributes corruption. Is that my experience so far in the WCB Alberta system, and within the AHS system, is that they are in no way applying evidence based medicine. Here is a link to a fellow who suffered the same injury that I did, he outcome was quite different from mine. He got lucky. Obviously on light duty. He seen the writing on the wall, that he would receive no proper medical investigation, and he got out. The pain I endure every day is mind blowing. And that is not even talking about my neck pain. I am so Leery of all government. I truly hope that the pain clinic can help me, in my quest for true evidence based medicine. I believe my condition is called Mylelopathic. It certainly would explain the wide range of bad side effects I have been suffering the last couple of years since some brainiac decided to give me deep back massages. For some time now, I am baffled as to how to go forward with my claim (I feel ridiculous even saying that because there is nothing legitimate about the Alberta WCB). To dream of any kind of resolution is distant. I mean they will not even respond to my doctor. To me, that was their final act of stupidity. As a organization they deserve no formal recognition in any field of rehabilitative medicine. They try to maintain a very thin veil of legitimacy by producing the odd happy seriously injured individual so as to seem be living up to their mandate. I wonder if Kenworth is aware that people who are seriously injured on their site will be subjected to such human degradation and abuse? What are they paying money into this fund for? Apparently for WCB employee luxury retirement in BC.

Armed man enters WCB Edmonton

The Alberta WCB is just plain bad Karma. And you know what they say about bad Karma, what goes around comes around. Fortunately no one was injured in the standoff. Do I now believe that the Hellberta Government is going to take action and actually make the WCB compensate seriously injured workers? The answer is NO, I do not! We have been lied to before by TORY Corp. Never happen this is a pro-business government and why would a conservative government put and end to what amounts to a hidden TAX on Albertans and Canadians. When the WCB does not pay, the taxpayers across Canada end up paying for the health care and living expenses of seriously injured workers from Alberta. Why are the taxpayers on the hook for my care, and some of it is very expensive. The Alberta WCB obviously has no clue as to what the word "fiduciary" means. More importantly, they do not care either. Who gave these guys an Insurance License anyways. My doctor and all the non WCB health care workers I have encountered in this entire experience have been professional. The only people I have encountered who are 100% non professional, and have not treated me with respect and dignity is the Workers Compensation Board staff, right from day 1. I have been asking for a bed for over 3 1/2 years now. My doctor has prescribed it. If you worked for the WCB what would be the very first item you would buy for a person who fell and broke his back? Good guess, a bed. I sleep on a futon mattress on the floor. I know my government and their pals all sleep on cushy pocket coils. Thanks ED, good job. Now cancel my rent subsidy. Oops, too late Capital Region Housing already did that, who would want to help a disabled person? How is this ending homelessness in Alberta? We now know that Conservative MLA's are impotent against the WCB Alberta, or are they? They are probably given a TORY script. Finally, will seriously injured workers across Canada every get to appear before the Standing Committee on Human Rights, not likely. The (JUST) committee will quickly sweep past us, remember this is a conservative government. Human rights for Canadians, what are you out of your mind. Alberta Appeals Commission

My worst fears have been realized regarding the Alberta WCB appeals commission
This is not a true legal dispute mechanism, it is a ultra cushy BS appointment of even more friends of the government. This is nepotism gone bezerk. Seriously injured Ironworkers with broken backs cannot even qualify for a bed, while the trough feeders continue to swell in number. I can guarantee you that they sleep on pocket coils. These people do not even feign concern, or interest in your plight.
Democracy died in Alberta, a very long time ago. The real shame in all of this, is the fact that almost no one showed up for the funeral. Elected officials running this province ended a long long time ago.
These people are making a mockery of Canada. It makes me sad to know that so many will suffer from the abuses of this government sponsored Super bureaucracy run amuck. The trough has been allowed to balloon to an unimaginable bloated and deformed size. The "demockery bureaucracy" has written their own laws(policies) for so long they actually believe that they are Law makers. They only need Law makers as figurehead puppets.
I thought that a true legal entity with a balanced representation would be a good solid place to consult on how to battle a corrupt and fraudulent corporation.
I really am only beginning to grasp what a completely naive and stupid idea that was. After a brief visit, their non action was obvious. I now know how naive I really am. The Office of the Appeals Commission as far as I am concerned is one more part of their farce. This is just one more layer of stupidity. This is a super corrupt organization whose chief mandate is defrauding seriously injured workers of any form of compensation.
Obviously a made in Alberta solution that was farmed out to an American consultant.

How's that Health Super Board working out for the general population?
The response from the commission representative was typical in its merry-go-round approach to a solution. This entire situation never even needed to reach this point, if the dispute resolution process was an actual working mechanism. It's originators intentions have been grossly perverted by the demockery bureaucracy. In doing so they have created a squirrel cage that you simply cannot escape. The process is so mind numbingly drawn out that it is almost guaranteed to discourage even the most seasoned mangled human.
The Alberta WCB is just one big SHAM wow. Claims managers mindlessly grinding out more of their southern consultants well rehearsed BS.
This is not a problem that is unique to the the Alberta WCB, this is a giant "Corporate Culture" created and nurtured by our government. It is ridiculous in it's premise, and even more retarded in actual practice. Hello, did anyone notice how all this corporate BS backfired in the US? Albertans bought the Corporate Hallelujah stuff hook line and sinker.
More corporation, less government. Hmm, how's that working out for you?

Alberta WCB's intentions were clear from the beginning, cutting off a seriously injured Ironworker with a shattered vertebrae and steel bars in his back after only 6 months recovery. Why? Because I refused to be mocked, would not accept WCB Alberta's outright denial of my injuries, and refused to be threatened into signing legally binding documents. It is interesting given the fact that it is against the law in Alberta to threaten persons within the confines of a licensed medical facility in the Province of Alberta.
No need for these people to obey the Law, they will just create a new policy, and have their puppet Lawmakers rubber stamp it into law. Isn't corporatism a wonderful tool for non elected officials to completely strip Citizens of Canada of all of their individual rights and freedoms.

When a government can no longer hear the cries of it's citizens over the bitching and moaning of corporations, then they are no longer a government. This makes them a puppet regime. (See: America)

I filed an appeal, which the WCB never responded to and even though I have repeatedly brought this contentious item up, they refuse to discuss it. How can I have respect for a commission to which my appeal shall never arrive. Just one more BS arm of a very large BS organization. There is not one part of this government that impresses me. Any organization that maliciously pursues defrauding seriously injured workers out of benefits they are legally entitled to, only impresses ultra right wing corporate wing dings. Government BS does not impress me, any farmer will tell you BS ain't worth a hill of beans. Yet, this government doles out BS like it is a valuable commodity. The bureaucrats are doling out horse manure and telling us that it is caviar.
Someone has to put a stop to these lawless bastards, plain and simple.
Since their is no one in this government that is willing to help seriously injured workers. There is no other choice. It is them or us. Democracy is a community, not an idea. Hope may be our only salvation.

Injured Alberta IronWorker Bad News

Well the news just keeps getting worse. I finally get my MRI approved and my lawyer writes me to tell me he does not believe that Legal Aid should fund me. The primary problem with this logic, is the fact that another lawyer already wrote a Legal Opinion on my file and concluded that I do have a valid case. My lawyer's point is moot. I wish that if he does not want my file, then by all means pass it on to a lawyer who does. Honestly, I have my plate full just trying to fight Alberta WCB without having to babysit my Lawyer and lead him around by the hand. Once again Alberta WCB has lied to my MLA's assistant and told her that my lawyer requested my file on May 1, when in fact that consent was faxed on April 3rd, 2009. My doctors request for a MRI was submitted on May 1st.
What really gets me down is:

1. Where is my due process?
2. When does the WCB stop lying and start helping?
3. The appeal process is supposed to be a dispute mechanism, and not a DESTRUCTION OF HOPE TOOL for Claims Managers
4. Where is my IME (Independent Medical Examination)? It is to be conducted at the end of the 2 year period. It is conducted at that time because it is accepted by the Medical Profession that any nerve damage that was done, would have been healed as much as it will ever heal by the end of this time frame. Their acronym is MMI (maximum medical improvement).
5. My Injury is listed as a PCI. Which means I am partially disabled and once my IME is Conducted, my ELP and NELP will have been established and can be disbursed.
6. This is Alberta Government sanctioned Fraud. And I am tired of it. How is any human expected to deal with these Obtuse Obdurates for another 20 years?
7. It is only 3 and a half years and I am ready to kill myself. I was never suicidal until I had to deal with the Felonious Government Insurance Scheme,known as the WCB Alberta.
8. Why have I not been allowed to go to the "Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minn?"
9. I was referred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota last year by my Doctor, and WCB Alberta immediately responded by closing my file. The WCB Alberta mob of idiots has had their share of time to execute their retard fraud show.
10. Now it is my turn. They have proven their ineptitude time and time again. They do not collaborate my health care treatments in good faith. They have proven that they have absolutely no intention of helping a seriously injured worker.
11. I am in constant unending pain and I want some help. I want to go to the Mayo Clinic to which I was referred, and my doctor and Surgeon have already forwarded my medical records last year.
12. You would not treat a dog in this manner. So why does our government sanction the treatment of humans in this manner?
13. Why am I not allowed to have a Case Manager who is not discriminatory, and why has no higher official at WCB Alberta intervened and done a complete review of my case?

Once again, I would like to thank Tony Vandermeer's Office for all of their help. God bless Brenda Goebel. I was misled into believing that Tony Vandermeer's Office was actually doing ANY work on my file. I initially was very grateful and humbled to have a PC MLA actually pretend to do work on my file.
  I originally was duped into believing that Tony Vandermeer actually cared about a terrible injustice being perpetrated against a disabled person.
  Boy was I ever stupid enough to believe that ANY PC MLA could give a crap about hard working Albertans.

 Tony Vandermeer's Office stabbed me in the back and told me on a return visit to
"Forget about my injury and MOVE On with my life".

  There is a god and he does not like do-nothing Floaters like Tony Vandermeer either, and Tony was DEFEATED in the 2012 Alberta Election.

 Just so there are NO hard feelings Tony Vandermeer, I have some advice and some comforting advice for Tony on his defeat,

MLA's Can Help Sometimes

Well it is Friday now and I have to go pick up my scrip over at the pharmacy. The last week has been interesting. I phoned my lawyer and he informed me that the WCB refuses to release my file. This, despite the fact that I sent him the authorization( 8 weeks ago), that he immediately faxed to Alberta WCB. I have been in contact with Brenda from my MLA's office and perhaps that will bear some fruit. It is difficult to get excited about any possible forward motion in my file with Alberta WCB. I have in the past and it only leads to disappointment.
I still have not heard anything on the CT Scan or the MRI that was ordered on my C-Spine 3 Weeks ago. I am going to drop by my doctors office as well and see if I can confirm their intranet connection with the Alberta WCB. I will pick up my Perc's while I am at it. My doctor desperately needs the CT and MRI scans in order to determine the extreme pain and limited range of motion in my neck.
My neck has been a ongoing problem since I fell. I wore a neck brace in the hospital for 6 days. For the first year or so my neck would pop about 10 times a day. That frequency of popping decreased slowly over the next year, until it was reduced to cracking and popping only a few times a day. Over the last winter, it was reduced in frequency to popping and cracking typically a couple of times a day. The only problem was that the pain level has been steadily going upwards during these events.
Then when I started to have my dental work done @ Dr. Pavlenko's Sana Dental office, I had to have multiple root canals, and crowns. During these sessions, the torsion of having my head propped back with my jaw mechanically held open for extended periods was enough to compound my neck problems. To such a degree that during the first sessions Dr. Pavlenko asked me if I knew there was a severe problem with my neck. I replied that I was, but it was yet to be fully assessed. Dr. Pavlenko and his assistant couldn't believe that the WCB Alberta are not providing medical or financial assistance to such an obviously disabled individual. He and his assistants would continually have to stop and give me a chance to recuperate when my neck would pop during these sessions. Dr. Pavlenko even wrote a letter to my Doctor about my neck abnormalities.
He is a medical Doctor and a professional. He just like every other medical professional I have met over the last 3 years and is genuinely committed to helping me. They are medical Professionals and as such do not want to see a patient suffer needlessly. Unlike the "Rent-a-doctors" whom are employed to produce bogus medical reports that not only are they unqualified to produce, but they are outright falsehoods produced for the profit of the WCB Alberta Millard Health Center. These reports are felonious in their intent.

Alberta WCB's approach of stonewalling doctors, medical imaging installations, my lawyer, my MLA's representative is not even a surprise to me. This felonious Insurance Scheme is run by people who operate "EXACTLY" like common criminals. As such the Alberta WCB believe that they are smarter than all of the aforementioned individuals. They actually believe that the whole lot of us are a pack of idiots. This precisely is the same ideological thinking of dominant criminal minds. The WCB has managed to influence the government controlling bodies through System Justification of their ideals, that there is nothing "Broken" at the Alberta WCB. This despite the fact that the last few WCB Alberta years are riddled with corruption, drug addiction and substance abuse, outright lying in court, thievery and embezzlement, as reported in the media. If today's modern highly trained and skilled tradespeople are required to pass random drug testing, than it stands to reason that all staff at Alberta WCB be required to do the same.
Considering they are in charge of billions of our dollars, and to disclose all investments, past and current, including past top bureaucrats in Alberta WCB.
These are not untruths, but public knowledge corroborated by the media. They are so used to lying that they just cover one lie with another.
Sadly the Seriously Injured Worker suffers.
